Looking for a quick knit cardigan?
One that's top-down, seamless, and easy to whip up in less than a week?
Meet Breac, in chunky Malabrigo yarn-it's everything mentioned above and more!
If you haven't tried top-down knitting before, this is a really good place to start.
Brean is a top-down raglan worked with yarn-overs to create open raglan seams to allow us to work with chunky and super chunky yarns.
And if like me, you're an adventurous knitter, the bottom section of Breac has a small amount of optional lace work to add a little bit of detail. We also have a step-by-step workshop that takes you through:
- Casting on
- Yoke construction
- Dividing for sleeves
- Measuring your cardigan
- Working body edges
- Working the sleeves and cuffs
- Cardigan bind-off and finishing
- Picking up stitches, and
- Working buttonholes
