The Sweater Society is a guided, year-long course designed to help you master sweater knitting and build confidence in shaping each project to suit your body.
Over the year the Sweater Society will build your sweater skills with topics including:
- 12 Sweater Sessions: a monthly live 90-minute class with Carol where you learn to master the fit of any sweater style and ask your own personalised questions.
- 15+ sweater patterns ranging from beginner to intermediate and advanced options.
- 5 key sweater types and one personalised set-in sleeve project.
- Fit and shaping tutorials tailored to each construction method.
- A private online forum for discussion and Q&A.
- Optional yarn kits for selected patterns with 15% discount.
- Lifetime access to the full course.
- Plus: an optional custom garment project to put your skills into practice.
Whether you’ve knit one sweater or ten, this course will give you the confidence and support to move from following patterns to truly understanding how sweater construction works and how to make it work for you.

Carol Feller, founder of Stolen Stitches, is known for making complex knitting techniques approachable. With over 17 years of teaching knitters across the world, her supportive, expert-led approach will help you build confidence and clarity in your sweater making journey.

You will find all the step-by-step videos you need for each of the patterns as well as a dedicated support thread and community chat threads in our virtual community. And if you want to get more in-depth on our focused technique, there will be options for that too!
No worries! All live sessions will be recorded and available for members to watch later at their convenience.
After joining, you’ll receive a welcome email with all the details on how to access the exclusive content, join the community, and get started.
We are based in Ireland and ship yarns worldwide, however, if you would like to use locally sourced yarn for your projects you can! You will have all the information you need to stashdive or support your local LYS too!
The Sweater Society is open until September 30th. We all work through the patterns together and there is a monthly schedule of releases and teaching provided.
You can decide how much time you would like to commit to it. Every two months we will have 3 new patterns (beginner, intermediate and advanced) to explore each new construction technique. All you need to do to be able to take part in our monthly live sessions and teaching is to create a swatch of your chosen pattern.
So, you can use the club as a knit-along working through designs as we go or as information that you listen to, dipping in and out as there are topics that are of interest or you’d like to learn more about. How deep you go is up to you!
Your membership includes digital patterns, tutorials, and content. However, if you choose to purchase yarn, you’ll have exclusive access to limited edition colorways and a 10% discount on Stolen Stitches brand yarns.
Nope! While we love designing with our yarns (and you’ll get a 10% discount if you want to use them), you’re welcome to use any yarn that works for the pattern. Yarn information will be included to help you stash dive too!
