Learn to Knit: 1 by 1 Cables

1 by 1 knitted cable

When you work a 1 by 1 cable it is often much easier to work it on the needles instead of using a cable needle.

1 by 1 Right Cross

  1. Knit into the second stitch, leaving all stitches on the left needle.
  2. Knit into the first stitch.
  3. Slip both stitches off the left needle.

1 by 1 Left Cross

  1. Knit into the back of the second stitch on the needle.
  2. Knit into the first stitch.
  3. Slip both stitches off the left needle.
