Dive Into Double Knitting

Cruinne is a reversible, buttoned cowl, designed to wrap twice around the neck, designed by Eimear Earley. Worked in double knit colourwork, it features a motif inspired by Iron Age finds discovered in 19th Century Ireland.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US size 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, 24” / 60 cm long for single colour
US size 3 / 3.25 mm circular needle, 24"/ 60 cm long for two colour if necessary

Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter's gauge is unique. Note that not all knitters will need to change needles between different types of double knitting.
Removable markers, tapestry needle, 4 x 23 mm buttons, cable needle or dpn (large needle size or slightly smaller), optional yarn guide.

GAUGE
21 sts and 25 rows = 4"/ 10 cm in double knit colourwork, on smaller needle, after blocking.
21 sts and 30 rows = 4” / 10 cm in single-colour double knit fabric, on larger needle, after blocking.

All of our video classes are hosted on the Teachable website. Once you enroll you will have on demand access 24 hours a day for as long as you need it. There is also a discussion forum where you can chat with other knitters about the project.

The email address you use to purchase the workshop will be used to auto-enroll you in the Teachable video class. You will get an email automatically with login details if you have not access a workshop before.

As the classes are hosted on a different website you will have to create a new login (separate from the Stolen Stitches website) To access the course you will login in here and go to the 'My Classes' banner at the top of the page to find all your classes.
