The Sweater Society is a guided, year-long course designed to help you master sweater knitting and build confidence in shaping each project to suit your body.

Over the year the Sweater Society will build your sweater skills with topics including:

  • 15+ sweater patterns ranging from beginner, intermediate and advanced options. 

  • 12 Sweater Sessions:  a monthly live 90-minute class with Carol where you learn to master the fit of any sweater style and ask your own personalised questions. 

  • 5 key sweater construction deep dives.

  • Fit and shaping tutorials tailored to each construction method.

  • A private online forum for discussion and Q&A.

  • Optional yarn kits for selected patterns with 15% discount.

  • Lifetime access to the full course. 

  • Plus: an optional custom garment project to put your skills into practice.

Whether you’ve knit one sweater or ten, this course will give you the confidence and support to move from following patterns to truly understanding how sweater construction works and how to make it work for you.

All patterns, classes and bonus learning materials will be delivered via Teachable.

Each module focuses on a different sweater style, from drop shoulder to raglan, circular yoke to set-in sleeves. Each module includes 3 patterns with options for beginner, intermediate and advanced.

The patterns are just the beginning. With lessons on yarn choices, shaping, ease, bust adjustments, and neckline options, we’ll work through modifications for every part of your sweater to suit your fit and style.

Throughout the year, you'll be supported with monthly live Sweater Sessions with Carol, dedicated Q&A threads, and a private online forum where you can share progress and get help when you need it.

Our video workshops are hosted on the Teachable website. Once you enroll you will have on demand access 24 hours a day for as long as you need it. There is also a discussion forum where you can chat with other knitters about the project.

Webinar classes are delivered as a zoom link before they happen, after you will receive a link to download the recording.

Teachable Access

The email address you use to purchase the workshop will be used to auto-enroll you in the Teachable video class. You will get an email automatically with login details if you have not access a workshop before.

As the classes are hosted on a different website you will have to create a new login (separate from the Stolen Stitches website) To access courses you will login in here and go to the 'My Classes' banner at the top of the page to find all your classes.
