Let the knitting do all the work to create visual interest in this sweater. Knit from the top down on the bias, the simple stitch pattern looks totally different by adding increases and decreases! The sweater is designed to be worked with a good amount of positive ease but worn a little shorter, hitting just below the navel.
This sweater is designed to be somewhat cropped, hitting 1.5” / 4 cm below the navel. If you want to alter the length this is an estimate of the difference this would make to yarn amounts.
Every 1” / 2.5 cm difference in length will change the yarn estimate by 35 (38, 40, 43, 45, 48, 51, 53, 56) yds / 32 (35, 37, 40, 42, 44, 47, 49, 51) m.
