Blasta yarn is the result of Project Homegrown to try and improve the availability of Irish wool. In this project, Donegal Yarns worked closely with wool merchants on sourcing Irish wool. By working on a good selection from the various breeds with improved sorting and grading, they have established an excellent yarn that is comfortable to knit with and wear. The blend contains 60% Fine Irish with 40% New Zealand Lambswool.
But, what’s it like to work with?
Blasta is a yarn with a texture like no other. Its stitches stand to attention and are just sticky enough to make frogging cables *almost* pain-free. It’s easy to work so your hands don’t get tired, and the resulting finished pieces are long-wearing with little pilling.

We are still shipping to the UK, orders under €150/£135 will have UK VAT charged directly on the shopping cart and will be delivered without any extra VAT or duty charges
Orders over €150/£135 will not have VAT charged and you will be responsible for VAT and Duty on importation into the UK.

Duty & Taxes
Please note, we do not cover Tax and Duty charges that may be charged by your country on import outside of the EU and UK. These will remain the buyers responsibility where applicable. UK VAT is paid for orders under €150 but you are responsible for orders over this value.
If you wish to have them included with purchase please let us know and we can bill before shipment for courier delivery options.
If you refuse delivery of a package that has fees due on it and it is returned to us the cost of any fees we incur and shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.
Returns
We hope you're happy with your purchase, if you wish to return it for any reason contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Yarn must be unwound with labels attached in a resalable condition. Refunds are for cost of purchase only, shipping costs are non-refundable. You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
To complete your return, we require, your name, date of purchase, item purchased, date that refund was requested and email address used to make the purchase. Send request to support@stolenstitches.com.
Returns should be sent to Stolen Stitches, 24 Tramore Commercial Park, Tramore Road, Cork, T12Y82T, Ireland.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If a refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 working days.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it was a mistake on our part or the product was defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
