Celebrate the coming of spring with a lightweight fun sweater. Loose fitting with delicate lace stripes it’s perfect for over that pretty spring dress.

Knit in the round from the bottom up, the body splits at the yoke and the front and back are worked separately. Sleeves are picked up from the armhole and worked in the round to the cuff.

Needles & Notions
US size 6 / 4 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm long (or longer for bigger sizes) for body
US size 4 / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm long for sleeves

Set of US size 4 / 3.5 mm dpns (if not using magic loop for sleeves)
Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique.
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, waste yarn or extra needle, size ‘g’ / 4 mm crochet hook.

GAUGE
24 sts and 34 rows = 4" / 10 cm in St St with smaller needle
14 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Lace Stripe or Lace Yoke Pattern with larger needle blocked
24 sts and 44 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Garter Stitch with larger needle
