I am so happy that I discovered the Sweater Society and decided to sign up. I love the expertise and collaboration along with the camaraderie of a shared interest with so many lovely knitters. I am learning so much and it is pushing me to try new things. Mossy Way was my first dropped shoulder sweater and I'm almost done!

I am still at the very beginning but the workshop is the only reason I'm able to make progress! I love seeing each step as I have never done anything like this before. Carol explains everything so clearly and it just helps to see it done!

When you find the perfect pattern but you're just not sure it's going to fit, but you make it anyway. Holding your breath as you pull your sweater over your head. Knitting society has shown me how to get my correct measurements to make sure the next time I make a sweater it's going to fit perfectly. I have found this course so helpful, not just in learning about fit, but in the broad approach Carol takes. Understanding what works in terms of style, colour and all the factors that go into choosing a pattern, means that you are far more likely to create a garment that you will really wear and enjoy. The lessons are well-structured: enough information to be useful, without being overwhelming. I have also come to appreciate the detail that goes into Carol's designs and pattern instructions. Already I am aware of how much my pattern choices and my knitting are better-informed, even though I still have not fully completed the course.
