This is a very special 7 Night Fairytales and Flowers Retreat in Ireland! The ultimate relaxing knitting experience full of the magic of Irish Folklore, flowers and that all-important Fairy-tale Castle stay!
This 7 night tour with Knitting Tours starts on the 26th April 2025 and includes two days of in-person knitting workshops with me, Carol Feller.
You’ll start in Kildare at ‘The Keadeen’ Hotel, nestled in award-winning gardens with host Aoibhe Ní. Enjoy a fabulous Tunisian Crochet class (perfect for beginners) and discover how to make your own stunning shawl based on Irish legends.
Next, you will have a 3-night stay at Ballyseede Castle, sitting proudly on 30 acres of magical gardens and woodlands in Kerry. I will be your host here and we will enjoy two days of knitting, creating my Spring Coinneal Cowl with bluebell stitch! There will be Afternoon Tea, flower arranging, baking and whiskey tasting, all without leaving the castle!
On the way back to Dublin you will meet the fluffy and wonderful alpacas, before a yarn-spinning class with Trish Kerr of Irish Alpaca Yarns.
You will spend your final 2 nights in Dublin at the Radisson Blu St. Helen’s Hotel, set in fabulous formal grounds. Finish your day with a trip to Ériu and discover their fleece-to-yarn experience.
