Club cable knitting patterns are all inspired by ancient Ireland and our history and folkore.

If you are a newer cable knitter all projects come with step-by-step videos so it's an ideal way to learn a new technique. We work through the whole project together in the videos, and you can follow along at your own pace.

CLUB TIMING

Each pattern and video update will be sent to you via email in the middle of the club package month.

First club package will be shipped in March.
Second club package will be shipped in May.
Third club package will be shipped in July.

YARN OPTIONS

The first instalment will use Solas a dk weight yarn with two smaller projects.

The second instalment will use Deas, which is an aran weight yarn with one medium sized project.

The final instalment will use Blasta, our DK weight yarn. This instalment will include the largest project, the wrap or cardigan. You will receive both patterns for both so just ensure you source enough yarn for the option you have picked.

Ireland, Northern Ireland and UK under €50 euro have a flat postage rate of €5. Free shipping over €50.

Europe, USA & Canada have free postage for orders over €120.

Orders under €120 have a flat rate rate as follows:

  • Europe: €7.50-13 depending on weight
  • USA: €9.5-20 depending on weight
  • Canada: €9-26 depending on weight
  • Australia/Singapore: €12.75 for small package
  • New Zealand: €16.25 for small package

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you've purchased the Club but changed your mind while the club sales are still open please just email us to cancel the order.

After the 24th of November orders with our artisans will be placed and your order can no longer be cancelled at this point.

Just add a note on your order with the giftee's name. Please ensure you enter the correct shipping address for the gift to be sent. You can place the order with your email address, but please put the recipient's email in the notes, so they are added for patterns and workshops.

Our Celtic Knits Club focuses on increasing your cable knitting skills throughout the club. We start with smaller accessory projects before taking on a larger, final project. You will choose either a wrap or garment for this option when you purchase the club.

You will find all the step-by-step videos you need for each of the patterns as well as a dedicated support thread and community chat threads in our Knithub virtual community.

Every club instalment will have a mix of yarn, patterns, videos, and, of course, surprises!

You will find:

-Yarn: Each instalment will use a different yarn. First will use Solas (a dk weight), next is Deas (aran weight) and the final instalment will be Blasta (dk weight). Digital club members won't receive a yarn delivery.

- Patterns: There will be a total of 5 patterns this year from Irish designers Eimear Earley, Laura Perrem, and Carol Feller.

- Video Workshops: Recorded in English with captions and interactive comments section.

- Chat: Exclusive Knithub forum for chat and dedicated help through the club.

- Party: Zoom Launch Party for each instalment.

- Surprises: Handmade items from some of our favourite Irish craftspeople.
